With a creative vision that transcends barriers between pop and underground music, Kingdom has established himself as a producer for artists such as Kelela, Syd, SZA, and Dawn Richard and also as the founder of his acclaimed record label Fade to Mind. His soulful, drum-heavy, and otherworldly productions and DJ sets blend diverse influences from the US, UK and beyond, first releasing records on Fool’s Gold and Night Slugs before becoming a label head in his own right. His undeniable influence in the contemporary underground can be traced through his own growing discography, and the unique group of artists he has developed.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Kingdom began his career in NYC’s thriving club scene, creating his first productions while studying visual art at Parsons School of Design. His collaborations with streetwear legends HBA and the counterculture Ghe20 Goth1k movement made him a force to be reckoned with, holding several residencies before starting his own event series. After maturing his style in New York, he relocated to Los Angeles to join close friends Total Freedom and Nguzunguzu where he continues to build Fade to Mind as a label and studio, fostering a growing group of experimental songwriters and musicians and cementing the label's cult following. He has toured extensively across North and South America, Asia, and Europe, and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, The Fader, Dazed and Confused, Pitchfork, and Artforum.

In 2009, Kingdom released his debut record Mind Reader on Fool’s Gold, introducing the world to his distinct mixture of club and R&B music. His releases on the London-based label Night Slugs put Kingdom on the international radar, gaining critical acclaim for his That Mystic (2010) and Dreama (2011) EPs. In 2013, Kingdom released his Fade to Mind debut Vertical XL, which featured the breakout hit “Bank Head,” introducing the label's first vocalist, Kelela. He would go on to executive produce her celebrated debut Cut 4 Me, and has worked extensively developing artists like Nguzunguzu, MikeQ and Fatima Al Qadiri. His debut album Tears in the Club was released February 2017 and features collaborations with SZA, Syd tha Kid, and Shacar.
