DJ Bempah is a south London based NTS Radio resident DJ & Producer specialising in UK Drill / UK & US Rap.
Also known for working with the MOBO nominated group UK Drill group ‘67’ in which he has played the part as their tour DJ, warming up crowds with high energy sets & vibes for festivals and shows across Europe such as Glastonbury, Roskilde festival, Woohah, Wireless & Applesap! The list goes on.
He also had a big part to play when 67 artist LD was called up for Skepta’s European tour, joining the masked MC on twenty of the dates across some of the most renowned venues in Europe with Bempah again warming up the crowd with high-intensity sets.
Whilst in London Bempah keeps his ear to the streets constantly on the lookout for the next best thing coming from the UK’s vibrant scene, with his collective ‘Scary Things’. Their bi-weekly residency on NTS is a chance for them to shine light on the hottest new music coming from the UK & US scenes; often featuring guests who show their skills and freestyle on air.
2022 was a busy year for Bempah, but he is not taking his foot off the gas. Early success with new party Scary Hours started this year with a bang! No doubt 2023 is set to be another killer year.
