As a booker, raver and all-round muso, Dangermami had already learnt the ins and outs of the electronic scene before even laying a finger on a mixer. Upon deciding to step from the dancefloor into the booth, she founded and now manages a mentorship programme that helps other femmes looking to launch their careers in this industry. Feeling disillusioned at the lack of options for women, transgender and non-binary people to learn to DJ in a supportive environment, she decided to simultaneously launch a mentorship program to address this issue- resulting in the birth of Femme Bass Mafia.

Since securing funding from MusicBoard Berlin and with the support of other organisations like Refuge Worldwide and Ableton, FBM has grown into a comprehensive educational programme which guides prospective artists through the whole process of starting their career, from organising their music collection to maintaining a clear head on social media. The constantly evolving, Femme Bass Mafia, has taught new DJs how to make it bang whilst organising showcases and events, and even contributing to vinyl releases.

As Dangermami, she’s known for her love of percussive breaks, bass-heavy club bouncers and playful 140-160 mixing journeys. Half-Russian, Half-Dutch and having grown up in France, Dangermami’s risk-taking antics earned her this nickname, and it’s this same element of spontaneity that she brings to all her performances.

The budding selector has already been gaining notoriety as a force to be reckoned with in and outside of Berlin. Evident not only through her confirmed FBM stage takeover for Outlook Festival, Croatia but also by her residencies at Refuge Worldwide & RSO Berlin, alongside her FBM crew, which have further solidified her reputation.
